Definition of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is the use of digital technology to create techniques capable of performing tasks that simulate human capabilities and work patterns, processing and analyzing the surrounding environment, learning from mistakes over time to make predictions, provide recommendations, support decision-making, or take actions that affect real or virtual environments to some degree of autonomy.

Jordanian Artificial Intelligence Policy 2020

The Jordanian policy for artificial intelligence aims to define the government's direction in the field of artificial intelligence in all vital economic sectors in the Kingdom. It also prepares the possible environment for artificial intelligence from legislative, regulatory, and technological perspectives, and builds Jordanian capabilities and skills in this field
